Received continued accreditation without any citations. The program started in 2005 and has switched from AOA to ACGME accreditation.
Emergency Medicine Residents are the primary performers of all procedures and resuscitations in the emergency department (with Attending oversight).
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do this rotation in 3rd year!! Everyone was amazing and honestly inspirational. The vast majority of attendings, residents, and PAs will serve as an end goal for the type of physician I would like to become! Thank you to all those who made this rotation possible and I look forward to future 4th-year electives!!
This was a very enjoyable rotation, I saw so much variety in pathology and felt as though I really grew as a future physician. Everyone was also so kind. I was nervous about going on audition rotations, especially after hearing horror stories about how terrible residency can be, but my month here was encouraging, knowing there are programs that care about you as an individual rather than just a number in the work force.
This was a great rotation and you have such a welcoming and intelligent group of residents. I have been on several rotations where residents did not want to be bothered with students and I never once felt that at Good Sam. The residents were all so nice and took time out of their busy days to give me feedback and make me a better provider which meant a lot.
